Help With Emotional Anger Issues....

I am always looking for ways in which to help the body heal itself. We put our bodies through so much on a sub-conscious level not realizing what we are doing and how it affects our physical health.

The point is; our emotions control our quality of physical health whether we are aware of it or not. Many of our ills manifest after we have been through intense emotional trials. If you live a life filled with stress on a consistent basis, your body will begin to reflect some type of disorder. Sometimes we can administer something on our own which will allow our body to return to harmonious balance and end whatever is wrong. But most of us will make appointments with our health practitioner hoping he or she can write a prescription to 'make it better.' The problem I have with this is often times what is given to us as a chemical prescription usually has terrible side-effects causing additional problems. It can and does become a never-ending-circle.

I stated above that our emotions control our state of physical health and I would like to explain a bit about that. Our physical body is powered by an extremely fine electrical current running through every portion. When this current is flowing freely without obstruction, we have perfect health. We feel good and everything is working great. We have no aches or pains. This most important electrical current begins to become blocked when we experience strong negative emotions, or feelings.

Picture the body transparently for a few minutes and that it is laying down on a flat surface. Pretend you are touring your body in a miniature car. Begin at the very top of your head and place a stop light; drive down to the forehead and there is another stop light; picture a stop light at your throat. Continue down to your heart area and picture a stop light there as well. Drive down to your naval and there is another stop light. Go a bit further to the top of your genital area and place a stop light there; and last, place a stoplight in the genital area itself. Every place I've asked you to place a stop light is governed by an energy gate, or portal and each portal is responsible for a specific area of the body.

When we are delighted and happy, the energy gates are open and allows the flow of electricity to pass through unobstructed.

When we are sad, grieved, angry, depressed, and stressed the energy portals narrow down. For most, it is only a temporary thing and the energy portals return to their natural state.

So many of us are living stressful lives today and stress has become a daily concern. Stress continued over a prolonged amount of time causes the energy portals to remain narrowed, and in some, an area will become blocked. When this happens, dis-ease appears as an outer symptom in our body causing us enough discomfort to seek relief from somebody we think capable of helping us. Many who have blocked heart portals develop heart disease, and if that portal remains blocked, heart attacks occur and death can, and does happen.

For example; if you constantly struggle with family issues surrounding an ability to provide for them, and if you are feeling strong guilt you will eventually develop chronic lower back pain, or sciatica.

Another example; your heart portal governs not only your heart and your entire circulatory system, but your lungs, shoulders, arms, ribs, breasts, diaphragm and your thymus gland. So when energy is restricted for a length of time, there will be problems with these areas of your body.

The emotions that cause the heart energy portal to constrict are ones dealing with love and hatred, resentment and bitterness, grief and anger; self-centeredness, loneliness and commitment, forgiveness and compassion, and hope and trust. We all deal with these emotions once we are born; but the key to it all is: how long do you hold on to these emotions?? How long do we go to bed and wake up holding onto and harboring feelings of anger and guilt for past situations? Most of us hold onto them for decades and don't realize it. Many of us carry these hidden feelings to our grave unexpressed and unresolved. Many of us die "before time" because we haven't properly dealt with our emotions.

Holding on to unresolved pain, frustration and anger causes our system to begin shutting down and our bodies have no other choice than to start deteriorating. Sure we can go to the doctor's office and begin taking chemicals that will temporarily alleviate our physical symptoms, but once on these, you usually stay on them, and as spoken of earlier, other problems generate because of it.

You can be one step ahead if you learn to recognize when strong emotions are afloat. A method used by millions of people is the Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT for short. It involves using the fingertips to 'awaken' and re-program the body. The body is an amazing instrument. It has many, many external locations related to the internal organic system. For example; your hands and feet have correlating areas connected to every organ inside of you. Your ear is another area of your body that contains points connected to every major organ inside of you. Your arms and legs are connected to internal organs too. All of these areas can be manipulated to give yourself a 'tune-up.' You just have to know how. There are many books available spelling out how to do this. You can self-treat or adjust your energies using your fingertips. To help you understand how this is done, I have placed two videos in this post. I encourage you to play them, pay close attention to what is being said, and work along with the demonstrations. If you would like to understand more about the energy portals and what emotions block them, I recommend a book: "Anatomy of the Spirit" by Caroline Myss, Ph.D. There are many EFT websites online. Do a "Google" and take your pick.

Here's to a healthier, more energetic life!!
